Lori Earley - “The Wish”
I recently did a surreal portrait series inspired by Lori Earley. I have loved her work for many years and have always been a daydreamer and am a fan of fantastical worlds and highly conceptual art, like her.  I love the softness of this image and was initially drawn to it because it reminded me of one of my favorite pieces of art I discovered at the Art Institute (museum) in Chicago. I am a lover of animals and champion their rights as our equals and I love that the subject of this painting is cradling the lamb in such a protective manner.
